Boat Show in Darling Harbour, Sydney

Sydney in the winter can be splendid. When the rain stops and the sun comes out, days like today can reach around 18°C. A perfect day to leave work early, head towards the Sydney International Boat Show and start asking questions around, to get that dream of mine a little kick.

Since my time in the Caribbean as a teen, I’ve been thinking it would be wonderful to sail around the world. Full time, or maybe just a few months every year. Cruise around discovering the world and all the cultures, the people and languages, their food and moods. You know. Vivre d’amour et d’eau fraîche. I’m just drawn to the water. I love everything about it. Plus at this point in my life, I think I see more value in sailing the globe than buying a sport car, really! So I figure, why not?! Why not make this my 3-5 year plan!
